Kumiai Navigation is selling a 17-year-old LPG carrier to take advantage of the strong VLGC market.

Managing director Tomomaru Kuroyanagi confirmed to TradeWinds that the Singapore-headquartered company is putting the Kawasaki-built, 83,000-cbm Crystal Marine (built 2003) on the sale-and-purchase market.

“The sale of Crystal Marine is part of our company’s fleet-renewal programme,” he said.
