Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KSOE) says it has secured a newbuilding order for up to four LNG carriers.
The company, which is the holding group for Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings' shipyards, said the deal comprised a firm order for two ships worth a total of KRW 425bn ($375m).
The contract includes options for another pair of 174,000-cbm sisterships, meaning the deal could potentially be worth $750m.
