Norway’s Hoegh LNG has signed a letter of intent with German terminal developer Deutsche ReGas to develop what looks set to be the world’s first floating green ammonia cracker.
The new terminal will be based at Deutsche ReGas’ terminal site in the port of Lubmin, where Hoegh’s floating storage and regasification unit had earlier served to import LNG.
