A first floating storage and regasification unit is expected to arrive in Germany within weeks, as the country gears up to put six new FSRU-based terminals into action over the coming year to replace Russian pipeline gas.
Hoegh LNG said it will “mobilise” its 170,000-cbm FSRU Hoegh Esperanza (built 2018) for trading giant Uniper on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany.
