Golar LNG has brought Oscar Spieler back as chief executive to replace Gary Smith, who is resigning as part of a series of organisational changes.
Spieler served as the company’s boss for almost two years between 2009 and 2011 and has been responsible for the strategically important Golar Hilli project.
Golar explained that this change will help the company capitalise on its position as one of the few credible companies able to develop future FLNG projects.
