Gas buyer Gail (India) has circulated a long-expected chartering requirement for LNG carrier tonnage to shipowners and brokers.
The company has stated it requires a minimum of “at least one ship” for worldwide trading, detailing that the charterer has the option to take more vessels.
A charter period of three years is offered on tonnage, with a charterer’s option to extend the hire by an additional 12 month period.
