Excelerate Energy and Norway’s Equinor Energy say they have completed the first ever ship-to-ship (STS) transfer of LNG in the Bahamas.
The transfer was carried out between Excelerate’s 151,072-cbm FSRU Exemplar (built 2010) and Equinor’s 143,000-cbm Arctic Voyager (built 2006).
It took place at Equinor’s South Riding Point storage and transshipment terminal in the Caribbean nation, Excelerate said in a statement.
