Oslo-listed BW LPG says fixed COAs accounted for 1,149 VLGC days for the quarter, 40.5% of its total. Spot COA’s stood at 183 VLGC days, a further 4.4% of the overall figure.
By contrast, only 384 days, or 13.5% of the total, was made up of voyage charters, with 199 VLGC days still to be covered in the first quarter.
