State-run China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) has finally floated a long-planned requirement asking for offers from companies interested in building a single 12,000-cbm LNG bunker vessel (LNGBV).
CNOOC Energy Development, a subsidiary of CNOOC that stated its intention to order an LNGBV three years ago, specified a vessel fitted with two 6,000-cbm type C tanks and to have either dual-fuel propulsion or pure gas engines.
