Clough has been awarded the contract for the construction of the marine facilities for the Saldanha Bay LPG Import Terminal.

The contract, which will be carried out by Clough subsidiary CMR Marine, has been secured from Sunrise Energy.

Clough said the scope of work includes fabrication, installation and commissioning of a 5km LPG pipeline.

Sunrise Energy says the marine facilities will enable vessels to offload LPG to an onshore facility, via a 3km subsea pipeline.
