Jeppe Jensen-led Celsius Tankers has bumped up its LNG orderbook in China by two more newbuildings and achieved its long-held ambition to build a 20-strong LNG carrier fleet.
Celsius chairman Jensen confirmed to TradeWinds that the company had inked two options for 180,000-cbm LNG carriers it held at China Merchants Heavy Industry Jiangsu (CMHI Jiangsu).
He said the vessels are for delivery dates in the first and fourth quarters of 2027.
