BW LPG offloads VLGC veteran with proceeds set for buybacks

BW LPG has sold one of its older VLGCs with proceeds from the deal set to be reinvested in its own stock.

Oslo-listed BW LPG has sold the 78,000-cbm BW Denise (built 2001), chief executive Martin Ackermann confirms.

The VLGC has been renamed Rubra and is now trading in the fleet of Pacific Carriers, according to data from Clarksons and VesselsValue.
