Shipowner BW LNG is converting one of its existing LNG carriers into a floating storage and regasification unit that will be ready for use by the end of this year.
BW LNG managing director Yngvil Asheim confirms that the company has chosen to put its 159,274-cbm BW GDF Suez Paris (built 2009) into Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard for the work. But she did not give any further details.
