Shipowner Anthony Veder has inked an order for a small-scale LNG carrier at China’s Jiangnan Shipyard.
Shipbuilding sources said the Dutch owner has contracted a 30,000-cbm newbuilding, without giving further details.
Brokers have previously priced these vessels at between $60m and $70m each.
Anthony Veder did not reply to TradeWinds' request for confirmation of the order.
