Finnlines has signed a contract with Remontowa shipyard to increase capacity on its vessels due to increased demand.
The Emanuele Grimaldi-owned company will spend EUR 70m ($74.8m) to lengthen four of its Breeze series ships, with an option for two additional vessels.
Finnlines will add around 1,000 lane metres to its ships, increasing their capacity by 30% at the same time as reducing the energy consumption per transported unit.
