Finnlines has bought a ro-pax from its parent Grimaldi Group due to growing cargo volumes.
The fully owned Swedish subsidiary Nordo-Link is acquiring the 46,000-gt Star-class passenger-freight vessel Europalink (built 2007).
The company had already signalled last year it would bring in the ship after expanding it.
The lengthening programme "progresses well", it said.
