Finnish marine systems giant Wartsila has seen scrubber demand grow but is looking to cut costs through redundancies after profit fell.
The company said net earnings in the fourth quarter were EUR 153m ($175m) from EUR 165m in 2017, as expenses rose.
Order intake increased 24% to EUR 1.87bn, with net sales up 6% to EUR 1.53bn.
The orderbook stands at EUR 3.69bn
