The Nasdaq-listed DryShips spin-off is paying $600m for whatwill be its fifth 7th generation UDW unit at the Korean yard and its ninth UDWunit in total.
ORIG recently took delivery of the first of its four 7thgeneration units from Samsung. Two more will hit the water this year with the fourth due in2015.
The newest addition to its fleet is also due to be handedover by the end of 2015.
