Tim Jones, president and chief executive of shipbroker Barry Rogliano Salles, has warned that Britain’s decision to quit the European Union could accelerate London’s decline from being the centre of world shipping.
With the Baltic Exchange also poised to be taken over by the Singapore Exchange the “centre is obviously moving out,” he said.
