Morgan Stanley appears to have pulled the plug on further coverage of shipping with the exception of liquified natural gas (LNG) names, a source tells TradeWinds.
The bulge-bracket bank already has shuttered its shipping department and LNG coverage will be taken up by its exploration and production (E&P) team.
The same source indicates that long-time shipping analyst Fotis Giannakoulis was forced from his post after nearly a decade with the shop.
