Christos Tsakonas can claim a number of firsts as the new global head of shipping at DNB.
Not only is he the first non-Norwegian to fill the role, but he also brings with him the experience and skills gained over nearly a decade as an investment banker with JP Morgan Chase.
Those skills are now set to come into full use alongside his corporate banking experience under the Norwegian bank’s reorganisation of its shipping portfolio as part of a new Ocean Industries division.
