The South African company’s net profit came in at ZAR 586.2 ($57.5m),down 12% from ZAR 641m in the first six months of 2012.
Earnings before income tax, depreciation and amortization dippedto ZAR 535.35m from ZAR 546.7m
Revenue plunged to ZAR 7bn from ZAR 18.8bn
Freight services made up the lion’s share of earnings duringthe half and came in at ZAR 376m.
It’s shipping division added ZAR 106m as earnings fromtankers and the Unical tanker operating business improved but drybulk fell.
