Oslo-quoted Fred Olsen Production slumped to a $3.8m loss for the third quarter of 2011.
This compares with a profit of a similar amount for last year.
In the second quarter of this year it reported a net loss of $456,000 after tax, but this compared with a loss of $11.4m for the second quarter of 2010.
Part of the deficit in the last quarter was attributable to a $1.3m
