Nicolas Saverys-backed Exmar has sold off its insurance business to Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group.
It will book a profit on the deal to offload Belgibo in the third quarter, it announced today.
Belgibo is no stranger to its new owner having been part of the Jardine Lloyd Thompson International network for more than 20 years.
“Belgibo has built up a strong reputation within the insurance market, and this partnership with JLT will further grow and strengthen its services with access to JLT’s global capabilities,” a statement said.
