A decent dry-bulk market was behind a growth in profit at Braemar Shipping Services as revenues grew.
The London-listed broker also announced it is sending tanker chief Denis Petropoulos to Singapore to head up a new office as it eyes significant expansion in Asia.
Although the financial year began more positively than had been expected, there was also a warning from Braemar of pain for the larger bulkers sector, continued softness in tankers and a “challenging” second half for container shipping.
