Nasdaq-listed Diana Containerships boosted its bottom line in the third quarter, reversing last year’s losses.

The shipowner booked $2.7m profit in the third quarter of this year compared to a $51,000 loss for the equivalent quarter a year ago.

Revenue was also up – from $2.4m to $9.7m over the period – as three ships were delivered in June.
