Oslo-quoted Cecon ASA has been awarded a contract in West Africa.
It calls for an immediate start for the engineering and project management of a pipeline installation.
The company will utilise one of its installation spreads deployed on a third-party vessel.
The contract is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Cecon has three large offshore construction vessels on order at the Davie shipyard in Quebec.
These are of the Vik-Sandvik VS4220 design.
