The embattled tanker operator says a vote on its financial restructuring and a subsequent hearing before the Central Court of Jakarta has been pushed from 2 January to 18 March.

Jack Noonan, chief executive of Connecticut-based offshoot BLT Chembulk, shed light on the extension in a note to clients.

“It is my understanding that this is very close to the statutory limit of the PKPU deadline, meaning that further extensions are not possible and that the claimant creditors will vote on BLT’s restructuring plan by the 18 March hearing date,” he wrote in an email.
