The Governance Group, an ESG consultancy that has 50 shipping clients, is merging with another adviser and a sustainability software platform in a deal put together by Nordic private equity firm Norvestor.
The Oslo-based advisory is joining forces with Velocity Consulting and the Position Green platform to become the Position Green Group. Shareholders of the three firms are re-investing alongside Norvestor, which will hold a controlling stake.
