Finnish bulker owner ESL Shipping has seen profit eroded in the third quarter by its supramax bulkers.
The Aspo-owned company said operating earnings were EUR 3.4m ($3.73m) to 30 September, from EUR 4.4m in the same period last year.
The fleet of 14 ships brought in revenue of EUR 17.9m, versus EUR 19.9m in 2015, mainly from Baltic Sea operations, although it has two supramaxes working globally.
