STX Pan Ocean has landed a whopping 20-year contract from compatriot steel giant Posco to ship coal and iron ore.
The South Korean diversified shipowner is bagging $420m from the deal which is set to kick off in less than a year.
The massive consecutive voyage contract was announced on the same day as Japan’s NYK secured another monster deal with Australian miner BHP Billiton.
