Pirates have taken 10 seafarers hostage after boarding a Turkish general cargoship off West Africa.
The Daily Sabah cited operator Kadioglu Maritime as saying the 8,900-dwt Paksoy-1 (built 1997) was attacked 230km off Brass, Nigeria, early on Tuesday.
It was in ballast from Cameroon's port of Douala to Abidjan in Ivory Coast.
