The Paris MoU port state organisation has barred two Lebanese vessels that clocked up 33 deficiencies between them.
Both have been banned for three months after being detained for the third time in three years.
The 3,000-dwt livestock carrier Blue Moon I (built 1975) was detained in Sitia, Greece, on 22 February.
It stayed there for 56 days after 19 deficiencies were found.
