Finland's Meriaura Group has appointed the former boss of Crystal Pool as its new managing director.
Elisa Mikkolainen, 50, will be in charge of maritime logistics and technical and crewing management at the multipurpose (MPP) owner. She joins on 17 July.
Mikkolainen has wide experience in shipping, mainly with chemical tankers but also with dry cargo.
She was managing director at Crystal Pool from 2010 to 2016, and before that held chartering and operations positions with the pool and Kemira GrowHow.
