Grieg Shipbrokers has poached seven Shanghai and Singapore staff members of Lorentzen & Stemoco (L&S) affiliate L&S Cape and will open new offices in both cities on 1 August under capesize veteran Berty with other brokers including outgoing L&S China boss Einar Karlsen and Daan van Velzen.
L&S Cape, an L&S joint venture with Shanghai Ore Transport (SOT), will be dissolved.
