South African owner Grindrod is shedding older vessels after completing its newbuilding programme.
The tanker and bulker company has taken delivery of more than 10 new ships over the last three years.
Now it wants to offload elderly units, it said.
A handysize bulker and an MR tanker have been redelivered to their owners.
And it has sold a 13-year-old tanker in the second half of the year.
