Eurobulk has bought a 13-year-old panamax from Nissen Kaiun of Japan, US and European brokers say.
The Greek shipowner is said to have purchased the Imabari Shipbuilding-constructed, 76,000-dwt Osmarine (built 2006) for $9.5m.
Eurobulk did not respond to requests for comment.
The market has an appetite for panamaxes of this age, and a number of deals have been concluded in recent weeks.
