India's Essar Shipping has posted a bigger loss for the first quarter as costs rose.
The company said the net deficit was INR 578m ($9m) to 30 June, from INR 504.5m in the same three months of 2016.
Revenue edged up to INR 1.88bn against INR 1.86bn, but total expenses were higher at INR 2.45bn, compared to INR 2.36bn a year ago.
