Finnish bulker owner ESL Shipping saw its profit dip in the fourth quarter, but hailed a “good achievement” in tough markets.
Operating earnings to 31 December were EUR 4.1m ($4.32m), compared to EUR 4.5m in the last three months of 2015.
The 14 vessels brought in revenue of EUR 20.6m, up from EUR 19.9m in 2015.
Annual profit dropped to EUR 12.6m against EUR 14.7m.
