EPB Chartering has reported that its profit more than doubled last year, as owner Tom Preststulen expressed confidence in the company's long-held contract with metals producer Elkem.
EPB's pre-tax profit increased to NOK 7m ($860,000) last year, up from NOK 3m in 2016.
EPB, formerly Elkem Chartering, was set up to ensure cost-efficient transport for Elkem but is also involved in the wider bulker trade.
