Cargill sought to temper the increasingly hostile trade rhetoric coming out of both the White House and Beijing, reminding the two world's largest economies their food supply chains are now inextricably linked.
In an opinion piece published on its website, Cargill cited US official trade data showing that China is now the second largest importer of US agricultural products, behind Canada.
