BBC Chartering plans a new monthly service sailing between the Persian Gulf, India and Australia.
The service commenced with the 8,000-dwt BBC Brisbane (built 2012), which is currently scheduled to load at Mumbai, Port Chennai and Port Kelang before making the return voyage to Brisbane in the first week of August.
The heavy lift and project cargo subsidiary of Briese Schiffahrt Group says the new service "is the only (one) in the market which offers shippers of project and heavy lift cargo a most reliable and competitive frequent shipping solution to Australia.
