Greek owner Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) has pencilled in contracts for up to two LNG carrier newbuildings, as the company moves in on stray berth space to make its gas sector debut.
In a statement Wednesday TEN said it has signed an LOI for one 145,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuilding for delivery in July 2007.
The company also has an option on a second ship with delivery scheduled for later the same year.
