Rickmers Reederei of Hamburg has taken over the German subsidiary of Chilean liner operator Companía Chilena de Navegacion Interoceanica (CCNI) and in the process added another seven vessels to its fleet.
CCNI (Deutschland) GmbH, also based in Hamburg, was originally set up to manage the Santiago-based company’s ships chartered in by Rickmers Line, with the German company controlled by Bertram Rickmers providing technical management.
