If you thought Clarksons was the biggest shipbroker not only in the UK, but in the world, you might be surprised to see the name of Furness Withy above it in a list of top London brokers.
The list, produced by researchers for a study into London’s position as a “maritime services cluster”, puts Furness Withy, part of the CY Tung group of Hong Kong, ahead not only of Clarksons but also Braemar Seascope on total sales.
