Hanjin Shipping of South Korea has reported a 13% rise in net income to KRW 147.7bn ($126m) in the second quarter.
The increase in profit was attributed by the company to increased cargo and a rise in container rates. Containers rose 7% to 688,875 teu.
Operating profit more than tripled to KRW 221.5bn while sales rose 15% to KRW 1.59 trillion.
