Norwegian owner Green Reefers has returned to Greece for the purchase of another reefer from Laskaridis Shipping.
The Bergen-based owner and logistics services provider has forked out $10.4m for the 194,000-cbf Silver Fjord (built 1997) having paid Laskaridis the same amount for the 191,301-cbf sistership Green Bergen (ex Frio Pusan, built 1998) in June last year.
The new vessel, to be delivered in June or July and renamed Green Tromso, and its sistership were both built at Aarhus Flydedok, Denmark.
