Texas-based Excelerate Energy says it expects to deliver its first cargo of regasified LNG into its offshore US port facility before the end of February but has yet to reveal from where it will source its first cargo and subsequent supplies.
In a statement Excelerate, and its shipowning partner Exmar of Belgium announced that their first LNG ship fitted with regasification capabilities (LNGRV), 138,000-cbm Excelsior, has successfully performed both its conventional gas trials and special regasification trials.
