Hellespont Metropolis
CMB Group tanker company Euronav has confirmed it has bought Hellespont’s four modern ULCC for deployment in the Tankers International pool from US-based Tisch family and Greece’s Papachristidis at a reported $450m.

Confirming a story on the deal reported by TradeWinds on Friday Euronav said in a statement Monday that together with its partners it has reached an agreement to buy the 442,500-dwt Hellespont Alhambra (built 2002), Hellespont Tara (built 2002), Hellespont Fairfax (built 2003) and Hellespont Metropolis (built 2002).
