A further twist in the ghost fleet saga has been added by a British court's injunction preventing any scrapping work on the first two ships until after December 8.
Environmentalist group Friends of the Earth sought the injunction on a modification to a waste management licence issued by the Environment Agency to Able UK, the company subcontracted to carry out the work in Hartlepool in northeast England.
